Hello! My name is Emily Radford and I have been teaching at Albert Hill Middle School since 2000. That means that I have was there before the school had air conditioning! I grew up in Richmond and am an RPS graduate. After graduating from Richmond Community High School, I attended the College of William and Mary. I have taught history and social studies at every level 7th-12th. However, my passion is with the United States 1865-present curriculum. I love being able to share the rich history of our country with middle school students.
I live in Richmond with my husband, kindergarten aged son, and dog. My family enjoys hiking and biking together in Virginia's beautiful state parks. We, also, fished some this summer but only caught "stickfish" and tiny fish. I enjoy collecting cookbooks and pretending that I will make all of the amazing dishes out of them!
