This year
we have brand new textbooks! More information will be sent home about textbooks later. Homework will be given to accompany a lesson. Part of a student’s homework is being
prepared with all supplies. Students will write their homework in their agenda daily. All students are expected to bring their agenda, pen/pencil, AR book, composition book and homework to
class daily. Students may get a pencil for 5 Tiger Bucks if they forget theirs. Work is considered late if
it is not turned in when it is asked for (generally the beginning of class). Cheating
on any assignment will result in a referral to the office and a zero on the assignment. If students are absent they are responsible
for making up all missed work within one week of their return to school. Students should consult the teacher for
missing assignments.
Tests and Performance Based Assessments (PBA) are generally given at the
conclusion of a unit. Students will
always be given a study guide. Quizzes are given frequently. Students can expect an exit quiz at the end
of every lesson. We will, also, have
monthly Accelerated Reader projects, DBQ projects, and other projects
throughout the year. Projects will come
with an assignment sheet.

YOUR ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
I
believe that constant, open communication between the student, the teacher, and
the home is the best way for students to succeed. Feel free to contact me by note, by phone (780-6107), by email (esharp@rvaschools.net), or by
arranging a meeting. Please, see me or
email me if you require special accommodations due to learning disabilities,
religious practices, physical requirements, medical needs, or any other
reasons.
I
really enjoy teaching American history and I have found that seventh grade is
a great year. Let’s make this our best
year at Albert H. Hill!
